Club National Rankings

Our latest 14s National Rankings have been slightly delayed but the wait is over! There has been a ton of action since our release back in February after Triple Crown. We’ve gone through the majority of qualifying season. The rankings below reflect all the major national tournaments and qualifiers save for Lone Star, NEQ and Far Western. Through it all, Madfrog 14 Green kept its grasp on the top spot, followed by HPSTL 14 Royal. After that, however, there was a lot of shifting and moving. Teams like Alamo 14 Premier and Tribe 14 Elite Cardinal made huge jumps into the Top 10. Others made giant strides to break into the Top 20. The latest round of our Top 50 National Rankings for the 15s division has plenty of movement. For starters, there’s a new No. 1 team, with Arizona Storm 15 Thunder replacing TAV 15 Black at top. Storm owns a 2-1 overall record against TAV to propel the club to No. 1. It’s likely they’ll meet at least once more before the season ends. There was also shifting beyond that, with AZ Rev 15 Premier, Hou Skyline 15 Royal and Mizuno Long Beach 15 Rockstar joining the Top 10. Excel 15 National Red and Tri-State Elite 15 Blue moved just outside the Top 10, while clubs like Forza1 15 One, HPSTL 15 Royal and City 15 Gold jumped up to the Top 30. Vballrecruiter’s national rankings update continues on as we head into April with the 16s division. Since our last release there has been three qualifiers – Sunshine, Mideast and Northern Lights – and Bluegrass to add to the results. The newest Top 50 brings us a change at No. 1. Like we saw in 17s, there was a flip-flop between the two top-ranked teams, with Mintonette Sports m.61 trading spots with Legacy 16-1 Adidas and earning the top spot. Even though Mintonette has captured both the Sunshine and Mideast qualifiers, it was a tight call as to which team should be No. 1. Despite Legacy still not being qualified, the club is 2-1 in head-to-head meetings with Mintonette, so it was tough placing Legacy right behind a team it has a better head-to-head record against. At the same time, there’s no denying Mintonette is playing like the best team in recent weeks having earned two first-place finishes. Among other changes included Arizona Storm 16 Thunder climbing higher in the Top 10, as well as both A5 16-1 Gabe and Boiler Jrs 16 Gold moving inside the Top 10. You can view the full Top 50 below. The last time we updated the 17s National Rankings was after Triple Crown in February. The schedule hasn’t been quite as busy as it was for the 18s, but still there has been the Sunshine Classic, the Northeast Qualifier, Mideast Qualifier and Bluegrass to deliver more results and help shape our latest Top 50. We are a week away from the final month of the season for the USAV portion of the 18s season. There is only one qualifier left – the SCVA Red Rock Rave this coming weekend – and it will determine three more bid winners. As we move closer to April, we have updated our 18s National Rankings. We released our last update right after the conclusion of Triple Crown. Since then, there have been eight qualifiers as well as Bluegrass to add to the results pool. While it led to plenty of shifting overall in our latest update, the top-ranked team remains the same in TAV 18 Black. KC Power 18 Black and Coast 18-1 Ozhan also remained put at Nos. 2 and 3 respectively. From there though is when the movement starts to take place, with Munciana 18 Samurai moving up to No. 4 after winning MEQ and Skyline 18 Royal climbing into the Top 10 for the first time this season. We started our post-Triple Crown national rankings update with the 14s division before moving to the 18s and counting down with the 17s and 16s. We wrap up with the 15s division. The new list below reflects the results of Triple Crown, but isn’t solely based on that event. All results to date were taken into consideration. We welcome back a familiar name atop the rankings in TAV 15 Black. The North Texas Region club started the year at No. 1 but slid down to No. 3 after a pair of losses to Madfrog 15 Green during the Tour of Texas. With both Tstreet 15-1 Asics and Arizona Storm 15 Thunder performing flawlessly in their respective regional play, both moved ahead of TAV entering Triple Crown. However, with TAV’s performance in Kansas City the club reclaimed its place at No. 1. TAV lost its opener at Triple Crown to Arizona Storm, but avenged that loss in the semis by beating Storm before winning out. There were big shifts in the rankings, with one being Club V 15 Ren Kalee shooting up to No. 3. KC Power 15-1 Black had an enormous jump from No. 41 to No. 10. Both Munciana 15 Blue and A5 15-1 Kelly join the Top 10 this go around, while AZ Rev 15 Premier, WPVC 15 Armour Black and Forza1 North 15 One all moved inside the Top 20. It’s the same deal as our 18s and 17s National Rankings release. We updated our 16s division right before Triple Crown, but with the tournament containing so many of our ranked teams and delivering a ton of relevant results, we thought it would be a good idea to update our list once more heading into qualifying season. There was a change at the top, with Legacy 16-1 Adidas taking over at No. 1. It wasn’t just Legacy winning Triple Crown. The rankings reflect all results to date. Legacy replaces Skyline 16 Royal, which moved down a spot to No. 2. Mintonette Sports m.61 and TAV 16 Black also moved down a spot, while SCVC 16 Roxy moved up one position to round out the Top 5. 1st Alliance 16 Gold made a huge jump, moving up 16 places and into the Top 10. Up next in our post-Triple Crown rankings update is the 17s division. Like the 18s, we put out an updated list ahead of Triple Crown but given the number of ranked teams in the field and the amount of results it produced we thought it would be fitting to update the list once more. Keep in mind, the rankings below don’t just represent what happened at Triple Crown. They also factor in other results to date such as Central Zone and the Northern Lights qualifier. One big change came at the top with MKE Sting 17 Gold taking over No. 1. Sting came into Triple Crown ranked No. 3 in our Top 50 and with its performance in Kansas City it goes into qualifying season holding the top spot. The very top teams shuffled slightly, with previous No. 1 Hou Skyline Royal sliding to No. 2 and while Arizona Storm 17 Thunder stayed and No. 2 and 1st Alliance 17 Gold remained at No. 4. We updated our 18s Club rankings heading into Triple Crown. With nearly all of the teams from our Top 50 competing in the three-day event in Kansas City and so many of them going at it head-to-head, we wanted to release another update to reflect the tournament. Therefore, we present our latest Top 50 below. There was no change at the top, as TAV 18 Black remained in the No. 1 spot. TAV finished runner up to Coast 18-1 in the 18s final and that was enough to keep TAV at No. 1. Coast shot up from No. 9 to No. 3. In January we released our initial 14s National Rankings. With few tournaments at that point, we listed 30 teams. In our latest update, and with Triple Crown results plus Central Zone, we’ve expanded to 50 teams. With it comes a new No. 1 in Madfrog 14 Green, which followed up its perfect showing at the Tour of Texas stop in Houston by going undefeated at Triple Crown. It made Madfrog the obvious pick to take over at No. 1. HPSTL 14 Royal, which was at No. 1, moves down one spot to No. 2. There was plenty of shuffling elsewhere. Both Coast 14-1 and Circle City 14 Purple climbed into the Top 10. Munciana 14 Chipmunks shot up the rankings as well, while clubs like AZ Sky 14G, Borinquen 14-1 and Arizona Storm 14 Thunder make their debuts beginning in the Top 20.
