It was a mild week for the Top 50 National HS Rankings. A close call with Mira Costa CA beating Palos Verdes CA in five sets could have shaken up the rankings at the top but instead there was very little movement. The biggest news among the top-ranked teams was Marist IL beating Benet Academy IL and avenging an earlier loss. More payback happened when Prestonwood Christian TX swept Cathedral Catholic CA in the ESPN Showcase after the Dons beat Prestonwood at the Durango Fall Classic.
