Our latest 14s National Rankings have been slightly delayed but the wait is over! There has been a ton of action since our release back in February after Triple Crown. We’ve gone through the majority of qualifying season. The rankings below reflect all the major national tournaments and qualifiers save for Lone Star, NEQ and Far Western. Through it all, Madfrog 14 Green kept its grasp on the top spot, followed by HPSTL 14 Royal. After that, however, there was a lot of shifting and moving. Teams like Alamo 14 Premier and Tribe 14 Elite Cardinal made huge jumps into the Top 10. Others made giant strides to break into the Top 20. The latest round of our Top 50 National Rankings for the 15s division has plenty of movement. For starters, there’s a new No. 1 team, with Arizona Storm 15 Thunder replacing TAV 15 Black at top. Storm owns a 2-1 overall record against TAV to propel the club to No. 1. It’s likely they’ll meet at least once more before the season ends. There was also shifting beyond that, with AZ Rev 15 Premier, Hou Skyline 15 Royal and Mizuno Long Beach 15 Rockstar joining the Top 10. Excel 15 National Red and Tri-State Elite 15 Blue moved just outside the Top 10, while clubs like Forza1 15 One, HPSTL 15 Royal and City 15 Gold jumped up to the Top 30. Vballrecruiter’s national rankings update continues on as we head into April with the 16s division. Since our last release there has been three qualifiers – Sunshine, Mideast and Northern Lights – and Bluegrass to add to the results. The newest Top 50 brings us a change at No. 1. Like we saw in 17s, there was a flip-flop between the two top-ranked teams, with Mintonette Sports m.61 trading spots with Legacy 16-1 Adidas and earning the top spot. Even though Mintonette has captured both the Sunshine and Mideast qualifiers, it was a tight call as to which team should be No. 1. Despite Legacy still not being qualified, the club is 2-1 in head-to-head meetings with Mintonette, so it was tough placing Legacy right behind a team it has a better head-to-head record against. At the same time, there’s no denying Mintonette is playing like the best team in recent weeks having earned two first-place finishes. Among other changes included Arizona Storm 16 Thunder climbing higher in the Top 10, as well as both A5 16-1 Gabe and Boiler Jrs 16 Gold moving inside the Top 10. You can view the full Top 50 below. The last time we updated the 17s National Rankings was after Triple Crown in February. The schedule hasn’t been quite as busy as it was for the 18s, but still there has been the Sunshine Classic, the Northeast Qualifier, Mideast Qualifier and Bluegrass to deliver more results and help shape our latest Top 50. In it, there has been a flip-flop at the top, with Arizona Storm 17 Thunder taking over the No. 1 spot and trading places with MKE Sting 17 Gold. There was plenty of movement beyond that as well. The last time we updated the 17s National Rankings was after Triple Crown in February. The schedule hasn’t been quite as busy as it was for the 18s, but still there has been the Sunshine Classic, the Northeast Qualifier, Mideast Qualifier and Bluegrass to deliver more results and help shape our latest Top 50. In it, there has been a flip-flop at the top, with Arizona Storm 17 Thunder taking over the No. 1 spot and trading places with MKE Sting 17 Gold. There was plenty of movement beyond that as well. Skyline 18 Royal moved up inside the Top 5, while TAV 17 Black Jon, OT 17 Aaron and Circle City 17 Purple all climbed inside the Top 10. You can view the full rankings below.
