Outlook/Prediction: A strong field is chasing three bids. With both OT 14 Laura and HPSTL 14 Royal coming in with prior bids it’ll be interesting to see if trickle down plays a role or not. It’s possible for trickle down to reach fifth place but teams can’t rely on that happening. Skyline 14 Royal, MAVS KC 14-1 and Elevation 14 Molly have been among the more consistent teams in the field but the 14s can improve in a hurry so anything is possible this weekend. Tribe 14 Elite Cardinal, Austin Skyline 14 Royal and HJV 14 Elite are contenders to bid, as are Mintonette Sports m.41, NKYVC 14-1 Tsunami and Rockwood Thunder 14 Elite. Or what about an unranked team like Lions 14-1 or MN Select 14-1? In the end, OT wins it all by beating Tribe in the final. Skyline and Elevation also earn bids.
