The latest round of the vballrecruiter.com Elite ID Clinic took place this past Friday at Tstreet in Irvine. There were two sessions, the first being middle schoolers and the second one featuring high schoolers. As usual, it was a high-energy, fast-paced event that saw plenty of talented players hitting the court and showing their stuff. At the conclusion of the event, vballrecruiter.com announced lots of invites for the upcoming The Red Hat Games in Dallas in December! Those receiving invitations for their play were:   Congrats to all receiving invitations! There are more players from the clinic being considered so more invites could eventually go out from this past weekend’s event. As it stands, there were standouts beyond those players who received invites. Below, we highlight all the standout players, from the invites to those who caught our eye. SHOW STOPPERS Cadence Talaga 6th OH/L/DS Mizuno Long Beach 13 Rockstar – Talaga is a flat-out baller. Enough said. But we’ll add a couple more notes. She’s vocal, showed good leadership skills and was very high energy in everthing she did. Megan Hodges 7th MB Tstreet 14 Carson – Hodges plays up an age group on Tstreet 14s and what potential she has! She’s tall and strong and already is a presence in the middle with her scoring and blocking abilities. We are thrilled to see what the future brings for her! Riley Stringer S Mizuno Long Beach 13 Rockstar – Stringer was among the setters who stood out. She showed really nice hands and ability to dish well. Simrin Adams 8th OH/RS Mizuno Long Beach 14 Rockstar – Adams oozes potential! She has a lively arm and was letting loose with it over and over. She’s going to be tough to deal with as she adds more and more power to her game. Leighton Devereux 8th S Mizuno Long Beach 14 Rockstar – Devereux was another setter who caught our attention with her dishing. She too has soft hands and was putting up clean balls. Hanna McGinest 8th OH Mizuno Long Beach 14 Rockstar – McGinest was arguably the bright spot of the evening with her big-time kills. Her high-flying act was hard to miss as she was banging balls down with ease and often! Taimame Poe 8th MB Mizuno Long Beach 14 Rockstar – Poe brings physicality to the middle. She’s strong and puts up a solid block. She’s also capable of getting a hold of one and unloading. Cedra Talaga 8th L/DS Mizuno Long Beach 14 Rockstar – Obviously, we couldn’t see every single ball that Talaga passed, but the ones we did catch she didn’t miss! She was on point with her ball control and accuracy and was making lots of hustle plays in the back row. Marlo Libbey 8th S Mizuno Long Beach 14 Rockstar – Libbey was sound with both her setting and her defense. She was bringing it in both areas. Karys Campos 8th L/DS Actyve 15 Black – Campos was an easy selection, as she balled out. She’s an athletic libero who moves well and displayed an upbeat attitude. Mikaela Brennan SO OH Tstreet 16 Naseri – Brennan showed a nice arm. She was hitting with pace and scoring consistently. Preslie Saunders SO OH/RS Surfside 16 PV Legends – Saunders has a strong arm and can hit with power. She was one of the better scorers during the event. Bella Lee SO L/DS A4 16 Volley Cassie – It took Lee a little bit to get going but once she was warmed up she was on! By the end she was one of the more impressive liberos with her ability to cover, defend and lay out. Whitney Fleming 8th OH Vision 14 Gold – Fleming was a standout attacker. She has a strong arm and was staying aggressive attacking. Brighton Richards FR L/DS Temecula Viper 14-1 – Richards was another top-notch libero who really stoodout with her play. She’s scrappy, talkative and just flat-out gets after it! Ella Paniagua SO OH/RS Seal Beach 16 Black – We really love Paniagua and the way she was going for it on the outside. She was not holding back and just swinging freely. Reagan Williams 8th MB Mizuno Long Beach 13 Rockstar – Williams brings quickness to the middle. She’s fast and that makes her tough to defend. Leah Madariaga 8th L/DS City 14 Gold – Madariaga definitely made it on our radar and eventually the invite list. There’s plenty to like about her, from her play to her attitude. We are excited to see her continued development. Kennedy Whyte 8th OH/RS Vision 14 Gold – Whyte is a name to get to know. She has tremendous upside. She’s long and athletic and watch out when she connects! She can really power through blocks and the team here is excited to see her grow and improve! Ireland Real 8th OH 949 14 Black – Real is a great example why these clinics rock! It’s a great opportunity to see rising talent and Real fits that description well. She’s long and can really extend. She has a good arm and it’s only going to improve and get better! McKenna McIntosh 8th OH/L/DS Rage 14 Garren – McIntosh is another with good size and potential. She caught a couple balls that showed what’s coming down the road. Carys Fouser JR MB ABQ Jrs 17 Jordan – Fouser took care of business in the middle. She’s active and works hard. She also has a solid arm and was putting away balls. Ally Fausett S/RS Tstreet 14-1 Carson – Fausett is a next-level talent to be sure. Her ability to both set and hit was on display and she was doing both at an above-average level. Sophie Christmas JR S Sunshine 17 Malibu – Christmas was on point with her setting. She was dishing clean and spotting well. Londyn Foster-Elisara 7th OH/RS Mizuno Long Beach 13 Rockstar – Foster-Elisara’s effort was noteworthy. She’s a real scrapper who was getting

The vballrecruiter.com team hit the road this past weekend to host our Elite ID Clinic at the home of Infinity Volleyball Academy in Jackson, Mississippi. The rainy weather was hardly a deterrent as players filled the beautiful facility from neighboring states such as Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Florida to get on our radar for possible selection for the forthcoming Red Hat Games in December in Dallas. In this instance, eight players were invited at the conclusion of the event. Below, we noted all who caught our attention in addition to our invitees. Quinn Morrissey JR S OTVA 17 Robin: Morrissey was a standout setter with her skills and ability to dish. She has nice hands and delivered a clean ball to her hitters. Ella Grace Holloway JR OH MVA 17-1: The 6-3 Holloway was strong on offense. She had a knack for scoring and her length was tough for smaller blockers as she’s able to extend and go right over them. Taylor Ishmael MB/RS West Florida Wave 16U Simonelli: Ishmael doesn’t get cheated on the attack. She’s aggressive and she goes for it. She has a big arm and she stood out with her hitting. Deandra McMillian SO MB Infinity 16 Open: McMillian is long and lanky with tremendous upside! Her length and ability to impact play at the net is easy to see. She can hit straight down and moves well enough to set up in front of attackers. Sophie Sosa SO MB Infinity 16 Open: The 6-0 Sosa was showcasing what she could do at the net. She moves well and has a fluid arm. She can bounce balls down when the opportunity presents itself. Bella Satterwhite SO OH West Florida Waves 16U Simonelli: The 5-11 Satterwhite really brought it hitting. She’s a physical hitter with a powerful arm. She had her share of big kills. Carson Caraway 8th OH Infinity 14 Open: Caraway stood out with her arm and offense. She has a strong swing and can generate plenty of pace on her shots. At 6-2, she has a very bright future!    BeBe Stokes 7th MB MVA 13 Red: Stokes may have been younger but fit right in! She has lots of upside with her athleticism and attacking ability. Lola Fisher FR S McAllen Fierce National 15-1: Fisher was a high-energy setter with a very nice touch. She has strong hands and was able to push sets cross court well. Yaneli Rocha FR S/RS McAllen Fierce National 15-1: Rocha is a fun, energetic player. She’s quick and gets to the ball well setting. She also showed a good touch and release. Diana Wells SO OH Velocity 16 Black: Wells was a strong attacker with a range of shots. She can hit across the front row from all positions. Cambell Herrington SO Infinity 16 Open: Herrington was getting after it defensively. She’s upbeat and was hitting her targets on a consistent basis. Olivia Guth SO L/DS Infinity South 16 U Elite: Guth was another defender who stood out with her play. She was solid with her passing and had a few really nice digs. Jane Gambel SO OH NOLA 16 Alyx: Gambel was getting after it with aggressive swings. She has a good arm and was doing well putting balls away. Lauryn Smith JR L/DS CVA 18 Green National: Smith is a quick backrow defender who gets around the court well. Her passing was consistent and on target. Avery Power SO L Infinity 16 Open: Power was an upbeat libero who showed hustle defending. She was also steady with her passing. Claire Wicker SO S Infinity 16 Open: Wicker had a nice release with consistent location. She did well adjusting on the fly connecting with the different hitters.  Emma Robertson JR RS Infinity 17 Open: Robertson flashed her potential with her 6-1 frame. She hits well from both pins. She’s capable of hitting with power and generating offense. Gemma Morris JR L/DS MAVA 17-1: Morris showed a lot of grit and determination and played all out. She was steady and consistent with her passing and covers the court well. Ania Anderson SO OH Red Storm 16 National: Anderson turned heads with her aggressive attacking. She did not hold back and she was bringing it every time. Evelynn Sutton FR L/DS Infinity 15 Ren: Sutton performed solidly. She showed a nice platform and she got after it hard. She also moves well and projects as a D1 libero.

Sierra Canyon’s Olivia Babcock, pictured above, was part of the All-Tournament Team The Ann Kang Invitational concluded Saturday after three days of riveting action and excitement that resulted in Mira Costa of Manhattan Beach winning its record seventh title from the prestigious tournament. The Under Armour Next Selection Camp on July 29 was the last stop of the season and was held at Tstreet volleyball club in Irvine. There were about 75 players in the gym and the electricity was tangible from the moment the girls started walking in. Like the previous camps, there was plenty of star-studded talent in the house. There were four MVPs handed out, as well as two Golden Tickets awarded to the UA All-America game in December in Orlando. The MVPs chosen were Kalyssa Blackshear (MB, 2025, Long Beach); Lola Schumacher (L, 2024, Munciana); Fatimah Hall (S, 2023, Long Beach, San Diego State); and Kendal Murphy (OH, 2023, AZ Rev, Baylor). The duo of the Golden Tickets were Jordyn Harvey (OH, 2023, Club V, Stanford) and Olivia Babcock (RS, 2023, Sunshine, Pitt). Beyond the MVPs and Golden Ticket winners the gym was overflowing with amazing talent and we want to spotlight other athletes who balled out as well. At the outside hitter position there were a bunch of heavy hitters on the courts. In addition to Kendal Murphy and Jordyn Harvey, here were others who shined: Alyssa Aguayo (2025, Aspire) Finley Krystkowiak (2026, Wave) Samarah DaCoud (2023, Seal Beach, New Mexico) Layli Ostovar (2026, Long Beach) Madison Gravlee (2023, High Tide, Florida) Fallyn Blotzer (2025, Wave) Reese Brown (2024, Tstreet) At the setting position there was impressive dishing going on all afternoon led by MVP Fatimah Hall. Other setters who shined included: Havannah Hoeft (2024, Rage Westside) Alexis Haury (2024, NPJ, Washington) Haiti Tautua’a (2023, Spike and Serve, Pitt) Kaia Mateo (2023, NYC Juniors, Iowa) Avery Jesewitz (2024, Northern Lights) The middle blocker position again was loaded with power and size. MVP Kalyssa Blackshear led the group while other middle blockers who ran the net included: Sidney Shaffer (2023, Tstreet, Bucknell) Lauryn Johnson (2024, NPJ, Arizona State) Speed, athleticism and all out defense repped the libero position, which was led by MVP Lola Schumacher. The Under Armour Next Middle School Camp Series in Southern California was jam packed with excitement and energy as the 2026-2029 classes came together from states such as California, Texas, Illinois, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Nevada. There were six MVPs awarded at the conclusion of the camp. Receiving the honors were Deondra Strong (L, 2026, Pipeline); Ammecy Ray (L, 2026, Naperville North); Aubrey Butterfield (S, 2027, Club One); Samantha Alyson Capinpin (S, 2026, Forza1); Nafanua Alofipo (S; 2027, Club V); and Ava McBride (OH/RS, 2026, Actyve). In addition, two players were awarded invites to next season’s UA Next High School Camp Series in Kendall Omoruyi (MB, 2027, Arizona Storm) and Addie Coady (MB, 2026, Tstreet). Beyond the athletes mentioned above we also want to shine a spotlight on other participants who played well during the camp session. At the setting position, we already mentioned Aubrey Butterfield, Samantha Alyson Capinpin and Nafanua Alofipo. Also starring and showing finesse and leadership were: Kaitlyn Herweg (2027, Long Beach) Simrin Adams (2027, Long Beach) Tristyn Ervin (2027, NPJ Seattle) At the libero position Deondra Strong and Ammecy Ray helped lead a scrappy and explosive group of athletes. Joining them in standing out were: Zoey Laulusa (2027, Long Beach) Savanah Rose Capinpin (2027, Forza1) At middle blocker, Kendall Omoruyi and Addie Coady made their presences known.
